When used as a hinge dimmer, the lights will automatically come on once the cabinet door is opened and then three levels of light (plus off) are controlled by touching the hinge dimmer. It is suitable for use with halogen, xenon and incandescent bulbs. The touch pad offers three-way light control. Up to five 60 watt plug-in puck light transformers can be attached to it.
